Lenovo G570 Review
Packed with all sorts of great features, the Lenovo G570 is an exceptionally fun laptop that is a practical choice for just about anyone.
The Lenovo G570 is a 15.6” laptop with an Intel core i5 processor, 6 GB of RAM, and 750 GB of hard drive storage space. There is an integrated Blu-ray player for watching movies and viewing pictures in high definition and a dedicated graphics card for superior graphics. Like most new laptops, the computer features the Windows 7 operating system.
Fun and Easy to Use
Though it is slightly more expensive than some of the laptops in its class, the Lenovo G570 is packed with features that make it well worth the price. VeriFace uses face recognition software to let users log into their computers quickly and easily, and the Lenovo ReadyComm center offers convenient internet connection management. DirectShare allows users to send files to another laptop even without an internet connection.
Graphics and More
Compared to most laptops, the Lenovo G570 has exceptional graphics specifications. The resolution is fairly typical, but somehow HD pictures and movies look better on the Lenovo G570. It may be due in part to the Blu-ray player, a feature most laptops are missing. Of course, the dedicated graphics card (a 1 GB ATI Robson XT) doesn’t hurt either. Between the two, graphics on the G570 are beyond exceptional, taking things like watching movies or gaming to a whole new level.
Setting Up the Computer
The Lenovo G570 is designed for a quick and easy set up, and even things like connecting external devices and configuring the wireless networks takes only a minute or two. Like most laptops, the G570 comes preloaded with all sorts of software. Most of the programs are trials which will run out after thirty days or a specified number of uses. However, some of the features, like the backup program, are a great extra to have. Deleting the rest of the software (the stuff often referred to as “bloatware”) is easy and should only take a bit of time.
